At first I used pads, then for a number of years tampons & pads, then the Diva cup & pads. Now I'm back to pads only. I could always feel tampons & menstrual cups when I used them. Also, my Diva cup always seemed to leak--I could never get it right.

What do you use? Anyone a free bleeder?

If you want some fiction or memoir suggestions, check my blog here, and if you're interested in theory, check my blog here.

That said, please help me find more books! What have you been reading?

Do you participate? Or are you more of a shaving no matter what? Or are you on par with me with #NoShaveForever?

Lately I have been trying to use my creativity more. I've always been very into fiber arts, I spin my own wool yarn and knit. I used to knit a LOT. I knitted to quit smoking actually. I've always been a journaler too, since I was little, and a bit of a scrapbooker too if you could call it that, mainly I was a "I like this picture so im gonna tape it to my journal with this ticket stub-er"

BUt lately I've been trying art journaling and mixed media-ish stuff. My goal has been to not buy anything new, so mostly I've been using watercolors, my kid's finger paints, and bits of scrap cardboard packaging.

Here's a couple of my recent attempts. The Blessed Virgin on the left painted on cereal box cardboard, and a page from my art journal on the right.

Someone mentioned in another thread how creative and talented women can be, so I'm really excited to hear about the ways you all express your creativity. :D

What did you all do for Halloween? I stayed home and watched spooky movies. I recommend Housebound. It was hilarious and really scary too. I don't like gore movies and it only had a little bit of blood. New Zealand horror comedy FTW.

Hey all yous gynes!

We need a few more mods for this subreddit. Send us a mod mail if you would be interested.

Requirements:

1. You must be female. LOL. For real though, if you're in this sub and not female, you may get out.

2. You must be willing to moderate; this means checking the mod queue semi-frequently for reported posts and other means. You will have to ban people: men and those who complain about our lack of inclusion of men.

3. You are cool with compromising and discussion within mod mail with the other mods (right now, just me and Astraloid). Instant bans for men applies, but in certain circumstances, sometimes you just need to chat it out.

4. Understanding that this isn't only a "gender critical" space, merely a space where we acknowledge that female is female and dicks, inside or out, are not female. So some of the content may not exactly jive with your personal (or MY personal!) beliefs. Content that makes people genuinely uncomfortable (i.e. based on the # of reports) will need to get discussed in mod mail.

Please send us a mod mail! Let's get some mods! Also, welcome to /r/ActualWomen!!
