Everyone's going to have their own boundaries for certain sex acts, so what I'm about to say won't apply to every woman here. Also keep in mind, there are a lot of women in this sub who are lesbians or otherwise choose not to sleep with men at all.
That being said, I have no problem giving head to a partner who is giving to me in and out of the bedroom, and if the blowjob doesn't have any degrading, porn-inspired context.
In regard to that last bit, the popular perception regarding blowjobs is a woman on her knees in front of the man, submitting to him, and using her mouth as a fuckhole. It gets worse if he's the one controlling her head movements. There are ways to please a man that don't involve this context.
Basically, if oral sex is seen as a way for a woman to give pleasure instead of a way for a man to take pleasure, I'm OK with it.
I appreciate your response. I was just curious. Its super interesting to hear how it can be symbolic for some and how casual/non-important it can be for others. It really makes you wonder where the onus for symbolism comes from and why its not a universal trope for all people in regard to sex
Well sex is an extremely personal thing, in spite of what pop culture would have you believe. Not everyone is going to have the same experiences and outlook on it.

Well, oral sex on a penis haver is degrading since they dont need it to cum, but for vagina havers, its necessary to cum since 80% of women don't orgasm from penetration. Penis havers know women arent orgasming from doing oral, and a lot of men don't like doing oral on women. If you look it up, its a big problem that men aren't doing oral, but expecting it themselves. They see it as degrading. Also, why do men say "suck a dick" as an insult? Because they literally see it as humiliating. They never say "eat a pussy". Men should eat pussy, but women don't have to do blowjobs.
Also the position itself it degrading. Women are underneath the man on her knees. That is a submissive position, while when men eat pussy, the woman is still underneath the man (laying down). So, for a man, eating pussy does not put him in a submissive position.
My follow-up question to this though, is that, does it "cancel out" if the man in question reciprocated? Or is your stance that its degrading no matter what?
I guess it would "cancel out" if all three are done-->
1) she orgasms
2)the blowjob is NEVER expected or forced
3)Shes never on her knees and the penis haver is laying down instead
Thanks for your response. I agree with all but the first point. I think it could be amended to the intention of her orgasming as its not always a guarantee a woman will orgasm, and speaking from personal experience, it's usually used as a warmup for conventional sex
Oral is the best way to make a woman orgasm. More likely than conventional sex. If you can't make her orgasm from oral you haven't learned how to do it properly.
Too many women feel guilty asking their partners to put in effort to learn to help them orgasm, so men think that it's fine if women don't orgasm from oral or sex or at all. It isn't fine. Women are just taught that sex revolves around the male orgasm and their own is too much of an inconvenience.
