Are there any accents you consider to be particularly attractive?
Submitted Jan. 6, 2021, 7:42 a.m. by Riled_up_BlackfyreWe’ve had the ol’ talks about race and ethnicity and things quite a bit and I got thinking about accents
Are there any in particular which push your buttons, tickle your pickle or softly, gently caress your eardrums with their beautiful cadence and sound and nibble your ear lobes

French Canadian 🥰🥰🥰
Huh not a usual pick, I’ve always heard that it sounds really weird, Like France’s embarrassing little brother
it does for most french people, but i do find it really funny
That's rude! They are basically Little France, but next door!
Beats American accents.
Nah I reckon Southern accents can beat it for women and some men
Also Marlborough man style western accents on guys
Hmm. So how's it going between you two? Are you dating now or nah?
Whaa... WHAAT??
I still have work to do on myself, but hope springs eternal.
I also played the lottery yesterday. A little disappointed I didn't win! I think the odds are about the same.
eta: I'm going to share here because why not! I failed a test today, it was stressful because I was studying all night and this morning. Just a very hard test and there was a lot of material I had zero prior knowledge or exposure to.. this is why they recommend to buy the retake package deal! So I retake in a week. But even still, once I get this done, then what? It means nothing without a good job. So I need to push that too, and maybe look for new sources for job listings.. I understand if I use indeed.com, it's easier to apply for me, but also everyone else. I will be competing with the whole world!
My next strategy is to use that but also look for local companies that are interesting and see if I can find jobs on their sites. The less efficient they are at promoting their positions, the less competition I will have to get the job :)
But everything is going well.. I won't give up. I will fight every day for the rest of my life if I have to. It's hard sometimes, but I pep talk to myself, dust myself off and try again.
I'm ok with failing, I'm not ok with giving up. Thank you for asking!
eta 2: look what they are doing to my city...

😢
Good luck with all that. Hope it works out. You're both decent people who deserve good shit.
I saw that on the news and very loudly WTF'ed. My dad was not happy with my cursing.
Some British English accents, and by "some" I don't mean Cockney, Brummie or Scouse.
Apart from that I'm more into languages than accents, although Danes sound adorable when they speak English.
I know what you mean about Danes lol one of my best friends is part Danish and he educated me on the accent quite well
There’s a series of videos on youtube of a Danish guy narrating his road trip from Denmark to China you may like
Is RP one of the English accents you like 🥺👉👈
RP sounds nice when I don't hear it on TV, lol. The combination of Royalty/famous actor/presenter and RP just makes it off putting to me, but I like the accent when ordinary people speak it.
Lucky for you I’m extremely ordinary 😎
So average you can’t even believe it bb
Glad hear some ppl like it. i usually think both me and my fellow Danes sound super goofy, when speaking english.
Nah you're good. I think the accent is really charming.
Russian, French, Cockney.
Ah yes, a good mix there. Vud you like some vodka mon gavna?
My favorites are German, Russian, and Danish accents.
Hmm I know what this is, you just like the bad guys in movies don’t you, I see you 👀
I dooo lmaoo
I bet you watched Hannibal and thought “yes Mads please cook and eat me idc just keep talking while you do”
South African
Yess had a major crush on a South African girl for a while, loved her accent
probably a hack answer but french girls
Voulez vous coucher avec moi ce soir?
Spanish but specifically the way Mexican men talk and like the slang and what not. Idk why. Not a fan of the lisp that some Latin speakers have bec it comes off as effeminate to me
I simped for any accent before Sully. I like accents. Like a lot, I actually perk ears up when I hear them, regardless of where they are in the world.
At work, I give people with thick accents extra time and consideration bc i know how Americans can be.
Woo counting on there being more girls like you 🙌 😂
And that’s actually good of you to do. Even in my job, senior foreign personnel will get ignored by some English speakers because they assume anyone who doesn’t speak English well is incompetent 😕
Québec, Irish and Indian accents for me
Québec, Irish and Indian accents for me
I like most Caribbean, South/Central American, African and European accents.
South African, German (the only guy I got close with - well, online - had this and I was slayed), Austrian, Swedish.
I also like British but...mostly in a comedic context in shows, not an attraction one.
Yesssss
Oh, ok, I see sniff 😢
You'll live. You're basking in the validation of all the people that slobber all over British accents like a fat cat basking in the sun. 😩
-girl that sounds like an asthmatic valley girl on crack
Pahahaha
Well don’t worry I’m sure asthmatic valley girl’s have their upsides too
Yes 🙌
Firm agreement there
maybe im weird but i like people who speak the way im used to hearing so i can understand them. i have a really hard time understanding accents, probably because i avoid talking to people in general
I find French accents 😍. I don't know what it is about them.
But, I also agree with some other answers here that I find just about every accent attractive on a guy. I've been attracted by Indian accents, German accents, Russian, West African, Jamaican, Spanish, Italian, they're all just really nice.
British but not high-class British.
I’m lower middle class but have a somewhat posh accent. Where does that put me?
I’m not sure, I think it might be a regional thing. Idk anything about the different British accents.
Ah right lol yeah dw there are a lot. I think on average its supposed to be something like one accent per 25 miles
East Europe hands down.
Canadian!
