Dark skinned women are my preference

Submitted Jan. 9, 2021, 4:08 p.m. by RespHopeful86

I'm a bit older, 34 so I just recently came upon this whole community. I didn't even know what all these terms meant until recently. (moid, stacy, chad, incel, femcel, normie) I feel like I was learning a new language. However here I am, and I'd like to say that many of you speak on things that only occur on the internet and Reddit. I can assure you that most of Reddit is NOT like real life, and every complaint I've seen on Reddit, I've literally seen the opposite occur in real life. I am not trying to put down your real life grievances though and some of these concerns are valid and have happened to yall in real life. Me and all my friends prefer darker skinned women, we love our Black, Latina, Indian women. They got so much flavor, the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice. It's not just me though, it's everywhere and I'm sorry for putting the White Femcels down here, but not all of us want a blonde girl ( I'm more of a brunette guy). I'm pretty sure the dudes that want White girls all live in other parts of the world and not so much western societies. Even if you see the trends on Instagram, all of these women are trying to look more ethnic, day by day. Anyways, I'm ranting. Yall look good as fuk, stop playin!

I like thick girls too , that extra is fire 🔥

It is nice to see you like overweight women. Most men do not.

Ngl, I really hate the phrasing of this, even though I know where you're coming from. It's kinda gross in fetishization kind of way.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 4:29 p.m.

It’s not, I’m a brown dude, it’s just my preference. Sorry if it comes across that way, maybe I’m not as elegant with my wording as I’d like to be.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 4:58 p.m.

Also I took inspiration from someone I grew up listening to growing up, Tupac, which popularized the phrase “Blacker the berry, sweeter the juice” , not sure if you’re familiar with it.

Eww yeah that kinda stuff always sounds weird

Closer to the bone, sweeter is the meat” is another one

Even if they are well-intentioned it’s kinda gross

Shutup simp, that line is from a Tupac song, you wouldn’t understand

Idc about anyones preferences but I'm just gonna say something about this, and that is that the difference is that to these [x]-fishers and the people who fawn over them, it's just a look that they can take off whenever they please. They don't have to deal with discrimination, racism, prejudices or anything else that is everyday life for a lot of POC and I guarantee you that 0% of these girls actually would have wanted to be born another race, they just want to look "exotic" for a photo, enjoy the attention and that's all. It's not a compliment to POC.

I grew up in a heavily mixed poor area and my peers rarely had racial preferences at all growing up, but I've never met someone who wouldn't date a white girl, I've met a few who wouldn't date a black one though.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 4:59 p.m.

I don’t get why everyone thinks white girls are so special , and I don’t know how to put this without offending the white femcels here.

How can you assure something is the opposite of what people are actually going through? That is a text message I received recently, as a brown skin woman. This text is nothing new and is something I see on profiles often and/or am told often.

we love our Black, Latina, Indian women

This kind disproves what you're trying to do. Dark skin is usually dark skin black women, like Lupita. While Indian women and some Latina women can get dark (especially darker than what's shown in media) they're usually still brown skin.

If you're saying brown skin is also dark skin, you're saying basically anything other than light/white skin is dark thus plays into the whole colorism shit. Which again, disproves your point and what you're trying to do.

Even if you see the trends on Instagram, all of these women are trying to look more ethnic

They're looking more "mixed race" which, again, hurts what you're trying to do. A white woman tanning, getting bigger lips and what not is not the same as a dark skin black woman.

Ok you win love, I wasn’t expecting to argue back and forth like we’re in a court trial and we’re opposing sides lol my only point was we don’t all thirst over white girls.

Mocha-BeansFormer Femcel · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:10 p.m. · 1 reply

If you don't want people to reply to your threads don't make one.

This isn't anything like court this is just me pointing out the obvious.

my only point was we don’t all thirst over white girls

We don't really think that, since moids often thirst over Asians and Latinas.

All I'm saying is tan/brown skin is not dark skin and you're just proving what we already know.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:41 p.m. · 1 reply

I like tan, brown, black all shades! How specific you want me to be? You can reply all you want. I like engaging with you lol

Mocha-BeansFormer Femcel · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:47 p.m. · 1 reply

How specific you want me to be?

You're the one that made the post stating "You prefer dark skin women" when the issue seems to be you don't truly mean dark skin women. You just mean women darker than tan/white.

I understand what you were trying to do but you missed the point of the complaint entirely. When women (here atleast) talk about moids not liking dark skin women, they mean (most of the time)dark skin BLACK women. In some cases people are talking about dark skin SEA but truly (especially by US standards, I know we aren't the world) they're just brown skin.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:53 p.m.

But I like Black women, as dark as lupita. My bad if my word play wasn’t enough to convince you of that, I’m not the best writer.

It is very kind of you to give hope to us. Maybe I can get a boyfriend now. Thanks for this.

ihatebeingfemcelFemcel · Jan. 9, 2021, 5:54 p.m. · 1 reply

What's the point of this post? You don't disprove that men in general don't like dark skin.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:42 p.m.

I don’t , but I’m just saying my preference . What’s up ?

Bachleda-CurusFemcel · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:02 p.m. · 2 replies

Me and all my friends prefer darker skinned women, we love our Black, Latina, Indian women.

Only If they are attractive.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:43 p.m.

Attractiveness is subjective girl , sometimes I find a woman attractive that others may not, and vice versus. I don’t go by what everyone likes.

Express_Tangerine977Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:45 p.m.

doesn't that apply to all physical preferences?

MysteriousDream9113Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 6:35 p.m. · 1 reply

I can't put my finger on why but "the blacker the berry the sweeter the juice" just sounded wrong and a bit disgusting to me. If I loved a certain group of women I would not make up phrases like that about them.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 9, 2021, 11:15 p.m. · 1 reply

You can't put your finger on it because you don't know that this lyric was from a really famous Tupac song " Dear Mama" . It was also the title to a Kendrick Lamar song, two of some of the most inspirational and popular rappers to exist, so instead of criticizing things off of raw emotion, maybe you should look into the history of such things.

Sorry if I offended you but you sounded like you were fetishising dark skinned women and that's just gross.

Hey, this actually gave me a lil boost of confidence, so even if these communities are new to you (they were new to me about 3 weeks ago too; now I'm glad that these spaces exist), thank you for reaching out to women of color (especially those of us who feel unattractive) and posting a genuinely nice post.

Although it is not everyone's reality, especially given how deeply Euro-centric beauty standards are ingrained into society (I do agree with you that on social media the attractive WoC, and there are so many, are slowly reversing stereotypes and outlooks), I am still glad some men see things how you do; I hope it's true. I am a brown skinned WoC (thank you for mentioning multiple races), but dark skinned women in particular are so beautiful and deserve all the love.

RespHopeful86Moid · Jan. 10, 2021, 3:06 a.m. · 1 reply

I appreciate you Queen! Don’t let these internet weirdos tell you any different. Reddit in general is very White-centric, most of the people of color are on Twitter , IG etc , it’s why these terms were so weird to hear . I hear the same shit from fellow Brown dudes that act the same way , it drives me wild. With your positive attitude and energy, I could see you go a long way in life!

athrowaway283222Becky · Jan. 10, 2021, 3:44 a.m.

Thank you!

Yes, I have noticed that Reddit in general is very white-centric. I am also on Twitter, IG, etc. so it was a bit of a shock for me, but there are a few women of color here I have noticed, especially Black women, and I like that race is addressed here time to time. Everyone here is pretty kind and decent, with different outlooks on life as femcels though.

None of my friends are really on Reddit (some may just lurk time to time), and I think it's nice/interesting that the very point of Reddit is staying fairly anonymous (to a certain degree/different for everyone though).

Thank you for your kind comment, and all the same to you!!

I hate this kind of fetishism
