Interesting also to note that the response Gervais was getting for heresy is nowhere near anything that Rowling was subject to. Men whine a bit at their bros, and are easily welcomed back, but women have torture, rape and death wished upon them.

Update: 24 hrs later and he's doubling down with "both sides" and calling women who know biology is real, and that this is important for women's rights, extremists
