Is There Anything I Can Do?

CRY FOR HELP Submitted Oct. 13, 2021, 11:44 p.m. by kittypurrly

I have been off T for about a month but spontaneously took my dose on Monday. I regretted it immediately and really do not want any more changes. I am on 25mg/week. Will things keep changing for months? Is there anything I can do to stop it? Will T blockers do anything for me? I am so distressed and frustrated right now, I just do not want any more changes at all.

I doubt a simple dose will make much of a difference and using hormone blockers can have its side effects too. Not worth it. And once u go off T completely, ur body will start to revert naturally.

I am really hoping you are right! I keep freaking myself out that the next few months will keep having changes, I guess I will just have to see :( I don't want my voice to go any lower or any more hair to develop. I am hoping since it is such a small amount after nothing for a few weeks that it will not make too much difference.

Talk to your endo about T blockers! If you’re sure about quitting they might help!

Wow 25mg/ seems like a lot how often does one do that regularly? For comparison, I take 6mg/every five of E and levels, as of last check, are still too high. Bicalutamide is the best defense against T, it's the only anti-A my doc will prescribe. Aside from cancer in men it's been shown to help with hirsutism in women (excess body hair) it's a simple "block" that binds to T receptors but otherwise has little to no "side effects".

Check It Out! (one 50mg/day would be considered A LOT, more than sufficient)

I appreciate the advice but I don't think you can really compare estrogen and testosterone like that. 25mg/week of T is not crazy low or anything but it's on the low end and has given me consistently low-normal testosterone levels and very slow changes.

Unfortunately my endo isn't available until november so I think I'll just have to deal with it :( But thank you for the recommendation!
