How to boost energy after coming off E?

ADVICE REQUEST Submitted Oct. 14, 2021, 11:55 p.m. by dead_meadow97

I came off E and spiro two weeks ago (3 months hrt) and although my energy and libido are coming back, they’re no where near where they were before hrt. The random crashes during the day suck and I know it’s due to my body working to return to its normal stasis. Is there anything I could do to help it get there and give myself more energy?

You just need time. I was that ammount of time in HRT and eventually it all came back, included strenght and energy. Maybe lifting could help.

I think you need to pay less attention to what you think your body is doing and just live life.

Your body crashes from staying up too late or drinking too much. Or working too long or too hard.

Practically hormones should not be "crashing" you

Sorry if I sound blunt but this is simply not true. Hormones take time to level out so crashing is very real. Same goes for people going through menopause and people with thyroid problems (different type of hormones in the latter, but fatigue still occurs when there is an imbalance.)

Patience and time. Also might not be ideal but I've found working overnight shift I can never tell how much of my zeroed out energy is overnights vs. hormonal changes from DT'ing

Honestly though - three months is a little while and it's important to stay atop your levels but I highly agree with the person who said to just live life and be patient. If it continues to be an issue get some blood work done just to be sure things are normalizing and there are no medical issues.
