How do you feel about the Pride flag adding brown and black stripes for BLM?
Question Submitted June 28, 2020, 4:49 p.m. by sk8erboi1985White bisexual female here. How do you feel about this? I get the feeling that the trans community (bc lets be honest it isn’t LGBTQ anymore... it is TQ) is minimizing black issues by doing this, and putting trans issues on the same level as hundreds of years of systemic racism against black people.

Black Bisexual here. I didn't mind when they added the black and brown stripes momentarily. It was just a nice way to say hey we see you and get some visibility one some issues that needs addressing in the community.
This one
I also like the flag resistance pride flag, the one with the multi colored fist. Here
Those two flags to me stand for very specific things. That I'm a same sex attracted woman and a person of color. I am both of these things equally, and you will see me as both those things equally. But that weird new one with trans flag and the black and browns strips can go. Its childish to me.
Thanks. It sounds like I misunderstood what they were trying to do with adding the brown and black stripes.
Eh people keep adding shit all over the place so it never hurts to ask for clarification.
I like the black and brown stripes as an addition for personal use but I wouldn’t like it to be the officially recognized flag
