The concepts of "Man" and "Woman" existed before we knew what chromosomes were, or even before we knew what DNA was. There are fully biological women who have XY chromosomes, but they aren't particularly common. Swyer Syndrome effects about 1 in 50,000 to 1 in 100,000 people. I happen to know a woman with Swyer. I guess you can dismiss them as outliers, if you define gender by kereotype, but in my opinion, a good rule doesn't exclude a sizable chunk of the population. Intersex people are more common than natural redheads.

From my understanding the categories Female and Male are based on what your body developed to produce, large gametes (ovum) or small gametes (sperm). Because of this intersex people are still either female or male (unless there's an intersex category I'm forgetting about). So your point still stands I just wanted to clarify the definitions as it's easy to oversimplify them.

I can try.

Are transwomen women?

No. They are men.

Why cant we agree on what woman even is???

Most people do, actually. Like a solid 98% of humanity agrees. Many of the non trans people who claim to believe that TWAW qualify that in many ways irl.

Aren’t the only people to who don’t have two Y or X chromosomes intersex not trans?

I don’t think the two y part is correct (xy not yy) but I get what you mean, and, yes the people who have a abnormal chromosome pattern (idk how to word that) are intersex- not trans. Intersex conditions are just another group of people trans people have exploited and appropriated for their benefit.

Isn’t female and male based on chromosomes?

And so much more, none of which can be altered through transitioning. Sex is based on primary sex characteristics, chromosomes, gametes, all of those things that can’t be altered by surgeries or cross sex hormones (hrt is also term they use incorrectly btw)

Thank you! It really is such a simple and intuitive topic that although i said something inaccurately you could still understand what i meant.
