“No one is saying that biological sex isn't real!”
Submitted June 28, 2020, 7:58 a.m. by latesapphicnightsDoes anyone have a link to a twitter thread or a compilation of articles/tweets/videos of TRAs (especially ones with platforms) denying biological sex, claiming it's not binary etc?
I'm so tired of the gaslighting and them constantly claiming that no one is denying science..
Thanks a lot in advance!

I don't think it matters if they are literally saying it is real or isn't if they are making it a blacklisted topic that one cannot identify, name, and discuss as an axis of oppression for women. Saying biological sex is real but you cannot talk about it, essentially renders it "not real" and they know this, they are arguing semantics hoping we are too stupid to catch on. Because remember they think women are the inferior sex and that we are stupid and need men to tell us how to be women.
It matters if they argue biological sex isn’t real
They are insisting they aren't saying it isn't real. My point is they can say "we aren't saying that!" but if they don't let us discuss biological sex and how it shapes and defines our oppression, they might as well be saying it is not real.
I see, that makes sense. Sorry I didn’t understand
That's true, and then by discussing it, if you go into socialization based on sex territory, then you're compelled to include them too,
My state allows you to change your sex on your birth certificate with a doctor's note that says you've had care related to transgenderism. That's literally erasing sex which means it isn't real on an institutional level.
Yeah, and replacing it with gender.
"No one is saying biological sex isn't real...
we're just saying your sex isn't important enough to deserve rights based on ;]"
yep
The lady brain/lady like beliefs they had is the same view that Victorian men had towards women, that's how regressive, sexist and patronizing the gender movement is towards women. It baffles me that any women can get onboard with this belief.
Thanks for posting that. I was going to. That guy is doing a brilliant job with his videos.
This is exactly the argument - where our laws current reflect "sex" - they should be changed to "gender id", and "gender id" is based on self-declaration, with no "gatekeeping".
George Takei outright said people who defends biological sex is anti science haha
I literally saw a copypasta getting mass-shared on FB last week celebrating the gay marriage SCOTUS decision that had the term "same-sex" in scare quotes. Straight up scare quotes only around the words "same-sex." Because they don't think sex is a real thing anymore, so the idea of "same-sex" marriage is some sort of outdated joke.
Unsurprisingly, the post was a rant about how trans people gave LGBs all our rights and how we owe everything to them, etc.
There's a really good compilation thread on Twitter... and I now can't find it. Mogane Oger does it all the time, though, and Rachel Mckinnon talks about the 'myth' that men are stronger than women.
If I were you I'd just go straight to trans subreddits, they talk openly about how they're really biologically female and how oestrogen is woman-juice and completely changes your body (sigh)
Ask them why they have such a strong hatred for JKR? Literally all she said is that bio sex is real. Counter with "So JKR was right then, you have no issues with her." And watch the shitshow.
Any chance you can change the Quillette link to an archive.is link? We don't like to link to Quillette directly.
What does tra stand for?
Trans Rights Activists
I just did a search on twitter for “sex isn’t real” and found a thread someone is compiling.
The gaslighting and having to walk on shells all the time when it comes to the gender issue is like dealing with an abusive partner/being in an abusive relationship.
Tell them transactivism is based on the works of Julia Serrano, Whipping Girl - that's what the fight is all about.
She argues that "Sexism" isn't based on sex, but rather, that society values masculinity over femininity. The solution isn't equality for women, but rather, for society to value being feminine anymore. Under this definition, masculine women aren't women and don't face sexism.
