Males are a threat. "Trans people" as a whole aren't the problem per se, since that includes females - I suppose the increase in testosterone increases anyone's likelihood of violence, but male socialization is the real kicker here.

Rape is primarily perpetrated by men against women. Sometimes men rape other men.
The fact is that the woman who perpetuates sexual assault is an anomaly, somewhat akin to someone who lives to be 110 years old. Those anomalies are too few and far between to be included in the statistics.
Rape is done by men. Women don't rape. That is a general truism. Granted, it isn't absolute, but it is true enough to be a general rule.

Testosterone is well known to turn men violent. That's why many farm animals are neutured unless they want to use them for reproduction. Fun fact - male elephants go through a phase called "musth" periodically when their testosterone levels go up 10 times! And they're super aggressive during that time and basically only focused on finding a receptive female and fighting other bulls. The effects of testosterone are no secret. Interestingly, aggressive males from most species don't harm females from the same species, only other males and maybe other species, because, well, what's the evolutionary advantage of harming a female that might be pregnant?
My personal opinion is that some of the effects of testosterone on the the brain making men more aggressive are permanent and persist even if the testosterone levels go down. Also, I think some of them occur in utero. I'll have to look more into it.

That's pretty interesting. I also wonder if it has to do with the underlying drivers of transitioning? Anecdotally, it seems like a lot of firm's transition after sexual abuse that makes them hate their bodies. Victims of abuse commit crimes at higher rates than the general population. They're also more likely to be homeless and abuse drugs, which are both crime risk factors. Finally, since the variable of interest is convictions, not arrests, we also have to factor in the systematic leniency shown to women throughout the court system and prejudicial feelings towards people who are GNC or trans.
Contrast that with mtf's, who instead seem to be transitioning away from rigid gender roles/celibacy.

I just got into a nasty argument with a good friend over JK Rowling about what a toxic TERF she is and I said I had not seen anything like that coming from her.

I'm following all of you because I'm afraid this community is about to be banned too ... for what I do not know, but we're at a point now that anything alluding to biological sex being real can be construed as hateful by people that don't understand the difference between gender and sex.
We're not even allowed to have an honest discussion about Dysphoria as a mental illness where one's internal feelings don't match reality. Calling it a mental illness is somehow now hateful and not what bio-science literally says.

I was active in the radfem community for over a year on Twitter (before I got permabanned lol) and follow a few on Instagram now and I’ve literally not once seen any of them threaten or even joke about harming trans people. So I don’t know where these trans people see radfems saying these things if they’re not even saying things like that in our communities. I have however seen about 99% of the trans people or allies online threaten or seriously talk about raping or hurting or killing “terfs”
I can’t comprehend the cognitive dissonance coming from them.
Radfem communities have been just about the most respectful, well spoken people in them since we have to be very careful about what we say, and most of us genuinely don’t hate trans people, a lot of us fought for their rights before. Most of us are just scared victims of rape or abuse who have PTSD and are scared of becoming isolated and anxious about going out if we lose our freedom to avoid men.
I don’t know if they’re referring to things right wing violent males say and misleadingly attributing those threats to “TERFs” or what

I see it every now and again on Tumblr. Just yesterday a radfem commented “I wish all of you were dead” on a reblog of a post about TIMs harassing lesbians. But I don’t see it NEARLY as much as I see us saying that we don’t wish harm or violence on any of them. I’d say of the 2 or 300 radical feminists I follow, 3 or 4 make empty threats like this, normally about men who claim to be trans women after convicted of a crime (and therefore skewing our crime statistics). Is it damaging to our movement because TRAs will latch onto anything damning we say and run with it? Yeah. But like I said, probably 98% of what I see is nonviolent. Whereas the amount of “Kill/rape TERFs” that I used to see when I was a TRA was WAY higher, and why I eventually left them for radical feminist spaces. Also, zero accounts of us physically harming them, or grouping up to fucking jump them in their homes.
ETA: I saw this story on Tumblr yesterday and it repeaked me all over again. As a black woman, it’s been maddening watching TRAs claim BLM and “Black Trans Lives Matter!!!” every four minutes, but then they go on to do/support shit like this. Every single nonblack TRA needs to keep black women’s names out of their fucking mouths as far as I’m concerned. This is a case of a BLACK MALE thinking he has such a right and authority over black women’s bodies, he can attempt to beat her senseless in the name of “wokeness.”

Radfem communities have been just about the most respectful, well spoken people in them since we have to be very careful about what we say, and most of us genuinely don’t hate trans people, a lot of us fought for their rights before. Most of us are just scared victims of rape or abuse who have PTSD and are scared of becoming isolated and anxious about going out if we lose our freedom to avoid men.

I know TRAs just love to claim how violent we are, but they never have any proof to back it up. If they do, it’s someone “misgendering” them which isn’t even a real issue.
I don’t have a twitter account, so unless there’s tweets only visible to members or she deleted it, I don’t even see her reply about the supposed radfem violence. I do however, see new comments wishing violence on her. Funny, that.

It is very easy. If someone against transgender - they are radfem. If someone says "periods" or "mother" - that is same as wishing death to transgenders.
I see it every now and again on Tumblr. Just yesterday a radfem commented “I wish all of you were dead” on a reblog of a post about TIMs harassing lesbians. But I don’t see it NEARLY as much as I see us saying that we don’t wish harm or violence on any of them. I’d say of the 2 or 300 radical feminists I follow, 3 or 4 make empty threats like this, normally about men who claim to be trans women after convicted of a crime (and therefore skewing our crime statistics). Is it damaging to our movement because TRAs will latch onto anything damning we say and run with it? Yeah. But like I said, probably 98% of what I see is nonviolent. Whereas the amount of “Kill/rape TERFs” that I used to see when I was a TRA was WAY higher, and why I eventually left them for radical feminist spaces. Also, zero accounts of us physically harming them, or grouping up to fucking jump them in their homes.
ETA: I saw this story on Tumblr yesterday and it repeaked me all over again. As a black woman, it’s been maddening watching TRAs claim BLM and “Black Trans Lives Matter!!!” every four minutes, but then they go on to do/support shit like this. Every single nonblack TRA needs to keep black women’s names out of their fucking mouths as far as I’m concerned. This is a case of a BLACK MALE thinking he has such a right and authority over black women’s bodies, he can attempt to beat her senseless in the name of “wokeness.”
