Blood types and the sex of people have been clearly established for DECADES. I would have literally died as a baby if my transfusions/donators were categorized by identity instead of science.
This madness will kill off our species before global warming ever can.

B*eck, 47, thinks of gender as a spectrum. They place themselves toward the male end of that spectrum, but they don’t strictly see themselves as male.*

Beck might be on the right on this one.If she did nothing to her body and the only change was on paper and they are aware of the blood type,Rhesus etc and her biological sex,then I do not see the problem here.
Beck is a female with XY chromosomes. That's the bottom line.

I do not think so if biological sex,medical history,sexual orientation are retained in the file and made known to medical workers.A good compromise is to have two markers,one for biological sex and a second for gender.

The sane option n that case is to retain two markers.Thus everyone is happy.Blood must be compatible and disease free.Now sexuality and sex plays a role in the disease free issue as blood tests are not 100% accurate.Sp they must be recorded truthfully.

I disagree.There is a reason that gay men are the main victims of HIV.
A)They are men with a higher sex drive and have more partners.
b)HIV is more easily transmitted with anal intercourse than vaginal.

When people tell you that trans and nonbinary people have a very sophisticated view of gender that is based on the sex/gender distinction, and that it's you who is confused, remind them that, actually, we are dealing with people who think that their identity overrides the biological reality of their sex. That is confused, that is insane, and there is nothing sophisticated about it.
