She refuses to let people shout her down as a woman and I fucking love it. Throughout history we have always found ways to downplay the female perspective with slurs. TERF is just the newest one.

How can they deny it when one of the few documented cases pf prolonged use of HRT (Buck Angel) almost dies due to testosterone usage.

Atrophy. Almost killed me. I am a transsexual man. I transitioned from a woman to a man over 20 years ago. I am an experiment. No one ever told me about atrophy. EVER. I suffered for years with debilitating cramps. Mostly after sex. The gynecologists, well the ones that would see me and many would not, would say “ oh thats normal pain” what the hell is normal pain? They said that because they had no clue. They just kept giving me testosterone and the pain just kept coming. One day I passed out. Fever. Emergency room. Infection. Sepsis. They said “ wow if you waited five more minutes you might be dead” They had no clue. After years of testosterone on my reproductive system is had atrophied. Beyond belief the doctor said. He had never seen anything like this. My cervix fused to my uterus. An infection formed. This was the cramping. The infection burst. This is the sepsis. Death did not happen. I am here today because of my amazing doctors in Mexico. This is what will happen to many if not all of us. If we do not start to educate our medical world. They are giving us testosterone without telling us all the side effects! I am a fact of what happens with long term use. Why are we so scared to address our health issues? This is fucking serious. I cannot stress to this community enough the damage this can cause. Our doctors still do not discuss atrophy. Why? Because they do not know. It is up to us to make the healthcare system responsible. I almost died. I never want this to happen to you ❤️ Tranpa ( this is my actual hysterectomy of my atrophied reproductive system) This surgery was done in 2011.

the post includes NSFW pictures.

StevenAssantisFoot · July 9, 2020, 2:57 p.m.

Ok I'll rephrase. I google searched "buck angel testosterone sick" and one of the first results was Buck Angel's tumblr post addressing this at some length. Hopefully that's okay.

It's a fifth column; a Trojan horse. Insidious and clever. The people behind it know what they are doing. They don't play around. They are sociopathic in the pursuit of their aims, and they seem to be winning. Everyone should take away from this the lesson of groupthink - what it is, how it is employed, and how people are vulnerable to irrationality and emotion. The Nazis and American advertising perfected manipulation of human psychology. They can take it to absurd "1984" levels, of forcing people to deny reality, or wreck their lives if they don't comply. A basic defense of democratic rights (like freedom of speech) that is INVIOLABLE is the antidote.

Yeah, that's what they do in Iran, castrate gay men and turn them into socially hetero women. Extremely effeminate gay men or buth lesbian women are being convinced to appear like hetero people of the opposite sex. This is new conversion therapy.

I'm still so mad about that. He was one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century, if not the most brilliant, and he was cut down at barely 40 years by legal homophobia. They executed him with hormones. They fucked with his mind, with the only sanctuary he ever had against the bullies and bigots whose lives he saved dozens of times over.

Calling this "hrt" and calling Turing a transsexual is just more than insulting, it's so wrong. It's so disrespectful to the man who saved the West from fascism.

Yeah I’ve seen TRAs retroactively trans many people but I think this one offends me the most. No one deserves what happened to Turing but the fact that he was a literal hero who helped end the war and they repaid him like that is so fucking tragic.

And now TRAsh have the audacity to shit further on his memory. He didn’t even receive a royal pardon until 2015

LilianH · July 9, 2020, 11:33 a.m. · 1 reply

Not the blockers, but I believe they gave him cross-sex hormones. The British were following the theories of German scientists from the 1930s who believed gay men had too high a level of male hormones therefore giving them female hormones would cure them.

mwp1992 · July 9, 2020, 1:32 p.m. · 1 reply

The hell kind of theory is that? Some of the “manliest” of straight men have high levels of male hormones. When a straight man is horny, nobody says he is producing too many female hormones.

LilianH · July 9, 2020, 11:49 p.m.

Not a good one. Some really weird stuff went on in the late 19th to early 20th century regarding research into hormones. Mad scientist level weird with testicle implants and vasectomies to cure impotence and so on.

Would also like to note that many families in Iran force this upon their kids to deny them being gay/bi. It's why Iran is 3rd or 4th highest on the list of countries that do the most transgender surgeries.

Ann_Fetamine` · July 9, 2020, 9:47 p.m.

Yes. It's also what they're doing NOW in Iran. They've perverted the Quran & decided it's okay to be gay as long as you have a sex change. So it's happening on a wide scale over there. I guess we've decided to emulate it :

I've been saying that we are going to see the fallout of this in the future. There's going to be a growing number of adults who feel completely lost because they made the decision that they were transgender as a child. How can you give a child life altering drugs to change their gender? Kids aren't allowed to vote, buy booze, smoke, fight wars, get jobs etc. But they are mature enough to decide what gender they are. I'm just cringing imagining if I actually got the tattoos I wanted as a kid. We're going to hear some pretty sad shit from these kids in the future. No way all of them won't regret their decision to transition. Also, my biggest confusion point on the entire thing is the fact that all of this seems to be based on stereotypes. Obviously, as a man, I don't know what it "feels" like to be a woman. But, you'd think the goal of an equal society is to break down gender stereotypes and let boys play with dolls or wear dresses if they want and let girls play soldier etc. Yet, when you hear these stories it's always, "I knew I was a girl because I liked pink and playing with dolls and I never fit in with the boys." That's the aspect that honestly confuses me the most, because now gender stereotypes are a good thing.

crustdrunk · July 9, 2020, 11:30 a.m. · 1 reply

In Addition, Imagine how many confused people there will be, who thought they were just being nice to the trans people and it turned out they were on the wrong side of history and tacitly supporting the destruction of LGB and female human rights

ThisGuyHasABigChode · July 9, 2020, 3:52 p.m. · 1 reply

I'm patiently waiting for the first lawsuit to come of this. Some kid is going to grow up, not want to be trans anymore and sue their parents. I can guarantee that it will happen eventually. I'm sure the argument will be that they couldn't consent because they were a child and the defense will be that it was a necessary medical procedure. I'll be very interested to see how it plays out because it will be a landmark and set a precedent.

crustdrunk · July 9, 2020, 8:27 p.m.

Pretty sure this has already been happening it just doesn’t make mainstream news since they’re still pressured by TRAs. There’s already so much outrage when a detransitioner speaks out we rarely hear from them, imagine if media followed a law suit like that. TRAs would fucking suicide bomb the courthouse lol they’d lose their minds

Jamiethiel2018 · July 9, 2020, 3:46 p.m. · 1 reply

The safety lead speaking out in the UK remarks on many parents feeling relieved they don't have an LGB child. I have seen a clip where the brother of a young person transitioning opined how much better this was as homosexuality is immoral on religious grounds.. I'm at a loss how surgery on this level plus cross-sex hormones taken for life is somehow by definition moral.

johnsmith1227` · July 9, 2020, 10:12 p.m. · 1 reply

I'm worried that since same-sex attraction can't be eliminated like they always wanted, this other method of "eliminating" same-sex attraction is going to become mainstream for both sides of the political spectrum one day. It's like traveling across opposite ends of denial. On one end it's pressuring a change of personality to match sex. On the other it's pressuring a change of sex to match personality. Either one actually can't be done but the illusion of doing so can be kept up with enough support from society.

Jamiethiel2018 · July 9, 2020, 11:23 p.m. · 1 reply

It's falling apart in the UK. There's already been two doctors defrocked & now the woman in charge of safeguarding for GIDS has gone public. This time around all the grass roots orgs that aren't libfem are supportive of LBG & actually T if only they could see it. We'll have to wait to see if Stonewall is found liable. Things are murkier in the US. My hope is we'll have another British invasion.

The concept of a person liking things generally enjoyed by the opposite sex meaning gender confusion is infuriating. I work with pediatric children and screen out most cases that could be referrals because my team of psychologists are supportive of gender and sex reaffirmation and is dealt with in a constructive manner where it doesn’t matter if a person doesn’t share the traditional ‘profile’ of a gender/sex.

Language that is used is reenforcing stereotypes that are damaging to everybody. Personally, I am very effeminate and gender non-conforming, there’s nothing wrong with that. I’ve been called an ‘egg’ but after 2 decades of embracing my sexuality and gender, I’m still an effeminate gay male who isn’t gender conforming.

I feel like it also affects those that are truly transgender. It downplays the idea of dysphoria, a mentally and physically crippling illness.
