My experience isn’t totally anecdotal I work in a progressive care unit for post-operative spine and stroke unit. I see surgical incisions, skin breakdown, infections, and pressure wounds.
My clinical experience says that at five months, deep tissue healing has not completed.
So, yes, I would think that.
